I am not sure when i been aware of acim now. I understand which i purchased the ebook in March 2009 since i wrote the date inside the cover.
When I attempted to see clearly, however, I just could not comprehend it. The appearance of writing was perplexing. The guidelines it contained baffled me. I had created nothing you’ve seen prior encountered such teachings. I wasn’t ready for it and quickly set it aside.
Eventually, a dear friend suggested that we form a report group to be effective for the Course. In my opinion he only agreed to be as bewildered by it as I was. But his suggestion was wise. He knew we might do together might know about was not capable of singing alone.
So a handful of us met the first time in July 2009. As well meeting, we attempted to read a number of pages in the Text — which forms the program combined with Workbook for Students and also the Manual for Teachers. What we read in this first meeting made little sense to all of us. It left us frustrated.
Somehow — i don’t remember how — we made a decision to turn instead to the Workbook for Students, using its 365 daily lessons. We should have been divinely inspired on this decision, as it helped us and possesses continued to be effective ever since.
Now, over a couple of years later, we have been well to the Workbook to get a second time. The daily lessons as well as the words now make sense. Now i look ahead to doing the lessons every morning once you’ve got my first cup of coffee. I am looking forward to using the teachings within the lessons into meditation where I will discuss them with my spirit guides. I am looking forward to the weekly study conferences where we review and discuss the lessons that we worked on individually during the entire week.
ACIM has totally changed my perception of the entire world, i have become focused on it. The analysis conferences normally leave me in a condition of bliss, because ACIM is helping me remember all the stuff I knew when still in spirit but forgot when I drew the veil of forgetfulness over me and incarnated into this physical world.
Here’s an example of the way the program changed my perception of the entire world: I used to think that this physical world is real and that it is made by God, nature, as well as other forces external in my experience. Now i realize that I’ve been tricked by my five senses into believing this world is real. Now i realize that it had been I who created the kind of world I see around me causing all of my experiences within it. Things i see “out there” is really only a projection of what is occurring in my own mind. This physical world is surely an illusion, a hologram where I will play and discover. None than it is real — I got all up!
Thus, I’m responsible for the type of world I see around me and my experiences within it. I am not a victim of life’s circumstances in the end. Other people are not abusing me. God is just not punishing me. I see what I see, I experience what I experience, i feel what I feel since i decide on so in my own mind.
There’s no part of going “out there” to switch any particular item on the planet. You are unable to control, manipulate, or correct it. This is like traversing to a cinema and stomping up to dismantle the screen simply because you dislike the show you’re watching.
The only way to change any particular item on the watch’s screen is to discover the projector at the back of a play and change the show. How you can change any particular item “out there” on the planet is usually to change what’s “in here” in your mind. Alter your beliefs. Stop judging and condemning. Start to practice unconditional love and acceptance. Whenever you do that, the entire world the thing is that “out there” are going to change. So long as will probably be stored in unhappiness, pain, and suffering.
ACIM is fairly simple and easy unequivocal relating to this: You are able to remain asleep on this physical illusion, dreaming that it must be real, as long as that suits you. You can also awaken spiritually and see you have been asleep in Heaven all along. Jesus Himself asserted Heaven is here now, all over, but we have not had the ability to see it. Even as we awaken from your desire this physical illusion, we are in a position to experience Heaven the following on this planet.
