“We continuously bring Macau more diversified cultural activities, and [will support] Macau to create itself as being a global art platform,” said Ho and “hopefully that Macau may become a well- known art capital in the foreseeable future.”

Regency Hotel opened in 1983 and has suffered with past business closures. Ho, however, wishes to transform it into an art hotel. “In Macau, there can be many resplendent big hotels, but the amount of hotels that happen to be utilized for art or even some creational events is, in fact, less than great,” said Ho.

At present, Regency Hotel is not running any casinos, which, based on Ho, results in a different atmosphere when compared with other hotels. She also thinks that guests residing in this hotel tend to be more “private.”
