A Course in Miracles is indeed pure, so wonderful, so powerful, a great deal more spiritually advanced than every other little bit of our planet’s literature (past and provide), you need to actually feel it to imagine it. But those whose minds are so attached to worldly thoughts, and don’t have the underlying thirst for true spiritual knowledge that is certainly essential for its understanding, won’t comprehend an individual whole page. That is not because A Course in Miracles is confusing – on the other hand its principles are remarkably simple – but rather because it’s the character of spiritual knowledge that people who aren’t able to comprehend it, cannot understand it. As stated in the Bible, at the outset of the novel of John: “The light shineth in darkness, and darkness comprehended it not”.
Ever since Initially when i first became mindful of the majestic and awe-inspiring existence of God, I’ve enjoyed reading many wonderful spiritual works like the Bible (my personal favorite parts would be the Sermon around the Mount and Psalms), the Bhagavad-Gita, the Upanishads, the Koran as well as the poetry of Kabir and Rumi. None compare for the greatness of an Course in Miracles. Reading it with an open mind and heart, your fears and troubles wash away. You feel mindful of a marvelous love deep in the human body – deeper than whatever you knew before. The longer term sets out to seem so bright for you you. You really feel passion for everyone including those you previously have tried to leave excluded. These experiences are incredibly powerful possibly at times throw you off balance a bit, but it’s worthwhile: Training in Miracles outlines a passion so peaceful, so strong so universal – you may wonder how so many of the world’s religions, whose aim is supposedly the same experience, got so off course.
I would like to say here for any Christian who feels that his church’s teachings usually do not truly satisfy his thirst to find out a type, merciful and loving God, but is nearly afraid to see the program due to others’ claims that it must be inconsistent with “true” Christianity: Don’t worry! I’ve look at gospels often and i also guarantee a Course in Miracles is totally in step with Jesus’ teachings while he was on earth. Don’t fear the fanatical defenders of exclusionist dogma – these poor people think themselves is the only carriers of Jesus’ message, along with the only ones worthy of his blessings, while all other should go to hell. A program in Miracles reflects Jesus’ true message: unconditional love for *all people*. As he was on earth, Jesus believed to judge a tree by its fruit. So give it a try to see how the fruits that ripen in your life taste. Whenever they taste bad, you are able to abandon Training in Miracles. However, if they taste as sweet as mine do, along with the countless other true seekers who have found A Course in Miracles to become nothing less than a heavenly treasure, then congratulations – and may even your heart continually be abundantly stuffed with peaceful, loving joy.
