When should the wonderful wedding speech be provided…?

How weddings have changed on the decades! From a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight bridal party members; a straightforward wedding car to expensive and huge wedding cars; three course meals to six course meals; one to three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

While we’re talking about aforementioned, wedding speeches are nevertheless an important part of a wedding and guests do anticipate hearing them, speaking about them before, during and even after they’ve been delivered.

We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered before the meal, through the meal after your food, however it is of the strong opinion the father of the bride speech ought to be delivered following your meal. I understand that for a lot of bridal party speakers i.e. Father with the Bride Speech, Father with the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (5 main speakers), they would choose to have the wedding speeches prior to the meal, so they can enjoy their meal (some of them are spending money for it!). However, it’s all about the invited guests and how many of them (as wll as the wedding ceremony venue staff) would like the marriage speeches being delivered after the meal for several reasons, some of which include:

The invited guests are already fed and watered and aren’t paying attention to wedding speeches before eating anything (at least of food, which may be so ahead of the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival with the wedding venue)
Food may be cooked and served on the agreed time (introduce the marriage speeches before the meal along with their could be a delay of Quarter-hour to a single.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy continuing to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding ceremony speeches work as the transition through the meal to the dancing (broke and alone happening as soon as the meal, everyone is expecting ‘a few words’ being shared regarding the Bride & Groom after which it they are fully aware they could stand up, move, have a break, go for a walk, navigate to the bar…)
It’s a challenge for fogeys in the Bride & Groom to communicate in public areas, as most of them couldn’t survive used of computer. So, they can, whenever they so wished, speak ahead of the / their meal.

There should nevertheless be some kind of formal speech(es) after the meal…
