How weddings have changed on the decades! From the handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding ceremony members; a simple wedding car to expensive and big wedding cars; three course meals to 6 course meals; one to three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
While we’re talking about the latter, wedding speeches continue to be an important part of being married and guests do look forward to hearing them, discussing them before, during as wll as after they’ve been delivered.
We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered ahead of the meal, in the meal after your food, however it is of the strong opinion that the father of the bride speech needs to be delivered as soon as the meal. I am aware that for a lot of marriage ceremony speakers i.e. Father with the Bride Speech, Father from the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the 5 main speakers), they might prefer to contain the wedding speeches prior to meal, to enable them to enjoy their meal (some of them are spending money for it!). However, it’s all about the invited guests and exactly how many of them (and even the marriage venue staff) would like the marriage speeches to get delivered after the meal for a lot of reasons, some of which include:
The invited guests have already been fed and watered and are not playing wedding speeches before eating anything (at least of food, which will be so prior to meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival in the wedding venue)
Food could be cooked and served on the agreed time (introduce the wedding ceremony speeches ahead of the meal as well as their could be a delay of A quarter-hour one.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy continuing to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The marriage speeches act as the transition from your meal on the dancing (with nothing happening as soon as the meal, individuals are expecting ‘a few words’ being shared concerning the Bride & Groom then they are fully aware they are able to stand up, move about, have a break, take a stroll, visit the bar…)
It’s a challenge for folks from the Bride & Groom to talk in public areas, as the majority of them may not be used of computer. So, they might, when they so wished, speak prior to / their meal.
There should nevertheless be some type of formal wedding speech(es) as soon as the meal…
