2016 Xmas Rock-POP song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Christmas rock-POP song has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key goal of getting attention and exposure for the Phuket charities and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day web site .

The tracks name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs sound is a unique up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then waiting for the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used local session players to record the tune over a 6 week period. The songs contains 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the USA as a result of Mark needed the very best result and quality. The music is now ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The key purpose of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day website as we can and then we hope in-turn they’ll be kind enough to donate to at least one or any of the Phuket island charities, and to also buy the song.
The other main goal is to have enough downloads of the song to fund and set up a Phuket live music club with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that will provide free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged children from the area’s schools and children’s orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open yet but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day website to advertise his song Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was working in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous methods to simply help including a Phuket island Villa and budget flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every dime helps.
