A new 2016 Xmas rock song has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main goal of getting attention and exposure for the Phuket charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .
The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks genre is a distinctive up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo track since then looking forward to the opportunity to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used local session musicians to record the music over a 6 week period. The track contains 8 differant tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States due to Mark needed the most effective outcome and quality. The song is now ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The main aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day web site as possible and then we hope in-turn they’ll be good enough to give to one or any of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the track.
One other primary goal is to get enough downloads of the tune to help fund and set up a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, that will provide free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to advertise his tune Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was living in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there is numerous ways to help including a Thailand Villa and budget flights to Phuket booking system. Every penny helps.
